A joint meeting of the Korean environmental agency K-Eco and the Czech Environmental Information Agency will take place at CENIA on 9-10 May. The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the organisations to each other and identify opportunities for cooperation. The meeting includes the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation signed by Miroslav Havránek, Director of CENIA, and Ahn Byung-Ok, Director General of K-eco.
K-eco contributes to the environmentally friendly development of Korea and to the protection of the local environment. It is engaged in pollution prevention, resource cycling and the transition to carbon neutrality. The representatives of K-eco and CENIA were particularly interested in environmental data management and waste and circular management. They visited the Old Wastewater Treatment Plant 1906 in Bubenč and the TGM Water Research Institute to learn about the detection of pharmaceuticals in wastewater.
